Quartz Clock Mechanism Complete With Fixing Kit, Clock Movement, Make your own clock

Our high precision Quartz Clock Mechanisms are great if you want to make your own clock or for replacing faulty clock mechanisms and come with all required fixing hardware and hour, minute and second hands.

They are accurate to within 30 seconds per month and run from one AA Battery which lasts over a year. The time is easily set or adjusted with the dial on the back of the unit.

Popular uses include recycling old CDs and laser cutting custom designs from Perspex or plywood to make into clocks, but if you’re after a more complete kit you can try our clock making kit, or assemble your own kit from our range of accessories.

THE HANGER AND MOVEMENT SPINDLE ARE ONLY INTENDED TO SUPPORT LIGHTWEIGHTS

For safety reasons we recommend using a stronger method of hanging your clock if its weight exceeds 500 grammes
A higher weight will also put excessive strain on the movement spindle which could make the clock unreliable
or even stop it from working altogether

Short spindle Clock Movements are ideal for dials up to 3mm thick
The full length of the Short spindle (Movement case to the tip of the spindle) is 13mm

Medium spindle Clock Movements are ideal for dials up to 7mm thick
The full length of the Medium spindle (Movement case to the tip of the spindle) is 18mm

Long spindle Clock Movements are ideal for dials up to 10mm thick
The full length of the Long spindle (Movement case to the tip of the spindle) is 21mm
